What a strange 4 months we have had. It has been stressful in many ways. Here we are at what should have been our last rehearsal before the the summer break. I’m sure when we get together again we will all have stories to tell.
I know many of the choir have continued to work as their skills are greatly needed. If you work for the NHS or other care giving jobs I take my hat off to you. Some of us have been doing our bit. I think of Maureen in particular whose sewing machine has been in over drive, making over 675 masks to raise money for Ty Hafan. I know others have been doing their bit to help. I salute you all.
We also remember the loss of our lovely Jan. We will all have a little part of her in our hearts.
Things are now a little easier. The next 6 weeks or so should have been our summer break but we realise it won’t end in September. There is no talk of resumption of singing for some time to come. I can’t see us resuming this year but who knows.
Of course if things change we will certainly let you know. In the meantime keep smiling , and stay well and keep safe. Lynne
