The choir are off to New York! We are thrilled to have been asked to take part in a performance of Howard Goodall’s ‘Invictus’ at Carnegie Hall next June. It’s an incredible privilege that a small community choir have been invited to take part.
And we’ll be the only choir in Wales to go!
And now the massive job of fundraising takes place. Our members are from all walks of life, and the trip is going to be very expensive for all of us.
We have already started with our secretary Lynne co-ordinating the collection of bags of clothes which we received money from. Quite a feat! We’ll set up a GoFundMe page shortly.
